Congratulations Micheal + Zoe

Saturday saw me starting the day at the Holiday Inn Express, Leigh sports village where I was to begin documenting the preparations of not just the Bride but also the Groom! As they were both getting ready at the same hotel I thought it would be nice to capture the build up of both parties especially as it only takes minutes to get from one room to another. I started with the Bridal party as they were getting their hair done by a friend of Zoe’s and the make-up was being done by Levida Beauty. It was a very chilled out atmosphere with plenty of smiles and laughter. Around 30 minutes before Micheal, his Best man and Son were to leave for the wedding venue I captured those smaller details and natural shots as they got ready. I finished off with the girls as it was time for Zoe to get into her wedding dress!

I headed off from the hotel to arrive at Brookfield Hall, Westhoughton for the wedding ceremony. I always ensure I speak with the wedding coordinator and registrars before everything kicks off to make sure if there’s anything I need to know or any requests etc.. Once I’ve done this I prep myself for the arrival of the Bride after any shots of guests arriving although in this case all friends and family had arrived and were already sat and awaiting the start of proceedings.

Soon, Zoe arrived and once the legalities were complete Micheal was seeing his Bride for the first time that day. There were plenty of emotions expressed throughout which made for wonderful photos and memories for them both. Rings were exchanged and the signing of the register complete but before the newly weds made their way back up the aisle as Husband and Wife their Son had a wonderful reading for all those witnessing the special occasion!

Afterwards Vicky the coordinator gave Micheal and Zoe initially a glass of water as they were both parched but followed by a glass of fizz! We swiftly moved outside for the formal groups shots as I knew we were up against the weather with it looking to rain as the hours ticked by. There was a request of just a small amount of groups as they wished for more documentary images of their family and friends which I was happy enough to oblige!

The afternoon and evening incorporated a vast amount of entertainment which included Luke McColl Music, Mason King – Mind Reader/Mentalist, Harry Robson Magician, Scatty Music with her fabulous Saxophone, Ice Entertainment – DJ, Heavenly Melted Chocolate, SNAP Chuckle and Prop and last but not least Pier Fun Casinos Event Management Ltd.

As usual we had speeches which firstly came from the Groom, Micheal. There was a twist at the end however which nobody was expecting as he performed a song for his Wife, what followed was an eruption of applause, cheering and clapping. Michael’s Best man followed as he nervously smiled walking over to the top table. His speech was amazing though as he just read out wonderful stories of memories growing up 🙂

The evening comprised of more entertainment, photographs of the happy couple together and of course the cutting of the cake and first dance. Thankfully the rain subsided and the sun made an appearance which made for glorious shots. It was an amazing day which followed with an amazing night of celebrations and I hope everyone had a memorable time.

I wish the new Mr & Mrs Cole all the very best in their married lives together and for now please enjoy these sneak peek shots.

Thanks…
