Congratulations Nathan + Naomi

My first wedding of 2019 was on Saturday and it was certainly a Wintery one! Nathan and Naomi booked me before Christmas for a customised package which involved me being involved in their big day for a specific amount of time, they were very happy and seemed excited…

So the day arrived and I headed up to Holland Hall Hotel and arrived around 1.30pm. I got some venue shots before getting a couple of documented photos of the girls finishing off of the Bridal preparations. It was all systems go as 5 minutes before the ceremony was to begin I was heading downstairs to take my spot at the front of the aisle and next to Nathan and his Best man.

The music started and the Paige boys began proceedings followed by the Flower girls, Bridesmaids and finally the beautiful Bride and her Father who smiled away as they walked past their family and friends. The ceremony ran smoothly and included some lovely vows from the couple to one another. After rings were exchanged and the signing of the register was complete they were making their way back up the aisle as Husband and Wife.

I knew we were pushed for time and so I began what was to be a record time of completing the formal group photos and the more intimate shots of the couple together…it took 25 minutes although we couldn’t stay for too long outside as it was approx 2 above freezing. The newlyweds headed inside to warm up, have a drink and a little food before they were being escorted to the reception room where they were to have their Hog Roast/Wedding breakfast.

This gave me the opportunity to get those all-important room shots and the ‘mock’ cutting of the cake photo!

The staff held back Nathan and Naomi and invited the entire wedding party to take their seats. The new Mr & Mrs Tomlinson were then officially announced into the room as they appeared from behind the curtain. They cracked on with the speeches before they all tucked into their food which involved Naomi’s Father saying a few words. He was then followed by Naomi’s Mum who offered a great Poem. Nathan expressed his gratitude for family and friends celebrating his and Bride’s special day before his Best man completed the formalities.

It wasn’t over however as Martin the wedding coordinator entertained everyone with a few swing songs but the real surprise of the day was when Naomi’s Father and Step Dad stepped up to the Mic and showed off what they could do with a few songs themselves.#

It was a great day and I wish the happy couple all the very best in their married lives together.

Thanks…
