Having recently received our wedding pictures from Sam, it is safe to say I am completely blown away and can’t stop looking through them. Sam has managed to capture the true realness of our wedding and the resounding love and laughter that frequented it. The pictures don’t just show you an image but they tell the story between each image. We were never contorted into unnatural poses but coaxed into being relaxed and real. When Sam was taking our photos he was very discreet and you wouldn’t even realise he was there which is perfect for those candid moments. He clearly sees elements to a room that I would never have noticed and uses these features to make a picture truly unique and breathtaking. Sam is not pushy, but quietly controls a room full of lively guests so the day ran smoothly. He knew exactly what we wanted because he took the time to ask and organised chats in advance of the big day. He was also within our budget and worth every penny spent and if I hadn’t known the price before hand I would have expected what we got (perfection) to cost an arm and a leg! Please take the time to look at Sam’s portfolio if you are looking for a wedding photographer because he really is that good, and I don’t often take the time to review things, but I really mean this!

Sam was recommended to us by a friend after her wedding. I saw her pics and they were exactly the sort of shots I wanted. More of the relaxed unposed pictures. From our first meeting with Sam he took us through all our options of photos, albums etc and kept in touch right up to the big day. Sam came to our home for the Bridal preparations and I can honestly say, I forgot he was even there. He was completely unobtrusive and produced some fabulous natural images! This continued through the ceremony and up until the first dance and other than our “standard family posed pics” the rest were a complete surprise as we didn’t know what photos he had taken. Sam was one of the key people that made our day so perfect! From the day we met him for our initial consultation his professionalism shone through, yet his ‘easy to talk to’ personality meant that we felt so relaxed and at ease. It was confirmed at our pre-wedding shoot that we’d made the right decision in choosing Sam as our photographer. We were both a little nervous and uncomfortable beforehand but within a matter or 2 shots he had us at ease and we ended up loving it! On our wedding day he was a friendly, calming face that I needed on the morning of the wedding whilst he documented the Bridal preparations. Everyone at my Mum and Dad’s house instantly liked him and his discreet work style meant that we sometimes forgot he was taking our picture. During the big day itself he was not only a photographer, but an organiser and a reassurance to me and James. Thank you so much Sam!
